On April 25, the Labyrinth Gallery hosted the final interactive lecture-concert from the cycle "Musical heritage of Belarus in the space of modern culture" in the 2023-2024 season.
The participants of the musical chapel of the Center for Research of Belarusian Culture, Language and Literature of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus completed a program that served as a kind of outcome of the first season of the cycle of acquaintance with the Belarusian choral musical art.
Performed by a string quartet, male and female vocal soloists, as well as the entire team, conducted by Zhanna Filippovich, musical samples from the "Anthology of National Heritage", which were already performed in previous programs, were performed by listeners.
There was also a surprise – the works presented by the collective as an announcement of the program “Musical Memorial to the Great Patriotic War in the works of modern Belarusian composers”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, aroused special interest and emotional response from the public.
After the summer break, the collaboration with the music chapel will continue.
