On September 18, 2007, in the gallery “Panorama” (the 22nd floor) was open a photoproject of Vadim Kachan "Minsk. Walking in the City".

Series of photos “Walking in the City" have been performed since 2003. Our city is different in different hours and seasons. The same places excite different impressions in the rain, in the morning and in the evening. In foggy days Minsk becomes the most mysterious. The city shows its unknown sides, pleases us with its surprises, and excites romantic mood.

Today Minsk changes every day. Something impressed in photos has already become the history. Sometimes incongruous things combine there: architecture with its contrasts, elements of urbanism with characters of city residents. The whole city is full of the spirit of Europe, some blocks of buildings look like Paris where the author used to be.

The author always walks along the city with a photo camera. These walks inspired the exhibition where are exposed 43 photos. The exhibition will be interesting both for admirers of constructivism, romantic art, and reportage photography.
