From 3 May to 29 June, an exhibition "My family is my honor!" runs in the Periodicals Reading Room (room 106).
The first cradle and the first school in a human life is a family, and our life is part and parcel of it. A family is on the leading positions in a person’s value system. The priority of our government is to revive and develop the values of a family and its many children.
The articles on the display are taken from periodicals Satsyyalna-pedagagіchnaya rabota, Adukatsyya i vykhavanne, Glavnyy bukhgalter, Zvyazda, Narodnaya Gazeta, and they are devoted to social assistance which is provided for a family by the government, as well as by various agencies and organizations.
A family is gradually changing and filling with a new content under the influence of processes which occur in a society. The issues of magazines Gumanіtarna-ekanamіchny vesnik, Narodnaya Gazeta, Prablemy vykhavannya, Planeta-Semya, shown on the exposition, emphasis on relevant matters in the formation of family values among the youth, the study of the role of families in the implementation of adult’s social activity, etc.
The materials on the exhibition cover matters of systematical and qualified family support from educational institutions. The articles are taken from magazines Pachatkovaya Shkola, Minskaya shkola segodnya, Vospitaniye shkolnikov, etc.
