On June 25, the National Library hosted the Book Labyrinth Quest for children.

During the event, the participants got familiarized with the "labyrinth" of the library and the works of art that decorate it. The quest tasks revealed the secrets and history of the book culture of Belarus.

The pupils of secondary school № 172 in Minsk have completed a full course of studies within the project On a Visit to the Books, and at the end of the quest they not only received a prize, but also honorary diplomas of the Book Professors’ Club.

Free classes are organized as part of the project On a Visit to the Books and aimed at promoting interest in books and national book heritage, as well as forming a pride in the achievements and rich traditions of the book culture of Belarus.

The Book Labyrinth Quest is an adventure game in the "labyrinth" of the National Library. The quest will pay attention to what the children have not seen before and did not know. The quest tasks will lead to the chroniclers, ancient manuscripts, a printing house, the mantle of Skaryna and other attractions.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.
