The National Library of Belarus is the coordination and methodological centre for the libraries of the Republic and actively conducts scientific work. In its structure, three research departments develop methodological recommendations on the activities of libraries, study and describe old printed books, participate in the preparation of regulatory acts and laws in the library sphere, and organize scientific events.
