On June 23, 2009, National Library of Belarus has received as a present the art album “Ivan Dmukhaylo. Painting. Landscapes”.
The edition is timed to the 95th anniversary of the artist and includes 95 reproductions of works by Ivan Dmukhaylo. The album contains as well articles by art critics, comments and memoirs of the artist’s contemporaries, photos, bibliography and other materials.
National Library of Belarus has received 180 copies of the album that will be redistributed among Belarusian regional and university libraries.
Editor of the album V.A. Dranchuk and S.G. Pavlovich, the General Manger of “Minskvodstroy” company, one of the project sponsors and coordinators participated in the event. Director of National Library of Belarus R.S. Motulsky welcomed the guests and thanked the editors for the valuable present. M.M. Weiner, I. Dmukhaylo’s wife who had suggested editing the album, told about the artist’s life and creative activity.
