On November, 30th, 2009, representatives of Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad handed a book collection to National Library of Belarus.
The event had been organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Federal Agency for the CIS affairs, compatriots abroad and international humanitarian cooperation, and National Library of Belarus.
The stocks of National Library of Belarus were replenished with books by The Russian Way publishing house and other known Russian publishing houses: memoirs by thinkers and public figures of the XX and XXI centuries, reference and information publications about Moscow, works by A. Solzhenitsyn, V. Aksyonov, L. Ulitskaya, D. Rubina and others.
Deputy Director of National Library of Belarus Lyudmila Kiryukhina; counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus, representative of the agency Rossotrudnichestvo A.V. Fyodorov; counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Belarus S.V. Beryozny, and representative of Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of the Russian Abroad I.A. Lopukhina participated in the event.
Guests of the event enjoyed the performance of Russian singer, worker of the House of the Russian Abroad V. Leonidov.
