On December 28, the library hosted a New Year concert for the “Knowledge Diamond” staff.

The friendly team made a fascinating journey to the fairytale world. The Good Wizard, director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky congratulated the colleagues on the upcoming New Year and gave a start to the concert program.

The spectators enjoyed the refined choreos by the ballet dancer of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater Izhena Kvashina and the performance of the perky virtuoso balalaika player Alexander Voronishche.

It was fun to say goodbye to the last year’s symbol – the dog. Two fluffy circus artists from "Luckyshow" won the attention and love of the audience in the blink of an eye.

The Belarusian pop star Gunesh arrived to warm up your hearts in the winter cold. The singer sang the song "Daughter of the East" and the good old “Valenki”.

And what’s a New Year without the red-cheeked old man, the master of the holiday?! The main Grandfather Frost of the country, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Radzivilov dropped in on the library. He congratulated the “Knowledge Diamond” staff with a touching New Year's song and wished everyone happiness and faith in miracles. After all, if you believe, the fairy tale will surely come to life.

Dear colleagues, Happy New Year 2019!

Our best wishes of good festive mood, pleasant surprises and gifts, health, love and joy to you and your loved ones!
