A monthly meeting with a lawyer on the topic "Pension provision and social protection: innovations in pension legislation" was organized and held on October 26 by the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian Republican Bar Association as part of events on information and legal education of citizens.
The lecture was delivered by the lawyer of the specialized legal consultation of Minsk "Legal Protection" Natalia Petrovna Kisel and the lawyer of the specialized legal consultation "Corporate Law and Taxes" Anastasia Mikhailovna Prokhorchik.
The meeting covered in detail the main issues related to the current system of social security of citizens, including pension: types, sizes and conditions for the appointment of pensions; the system of voluntary funded pension insurance with state support; conditions for termination of employment contracts (contracts) for working pensioners, as well as pension provision for military personnel.
The event also includes a thematic exhibition of literature from the collections of the National Library, presented in the legal information reading room (room 207b).
