On October 27, the National Library was visited by a delegation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar headed by the Union Minister for the Union Government Ko Ko Hlaing.
The visit took place within the framework of the high-level international conference "Eurasian Security: Reality and Prospects in a Transforming World".
An introductory tour was conducted for the honored guests, where they were introduced to the 100-year history of the library, its funds, resources and potential of the largest socio-cultural center of the country.
In the Museum of the book, the guests got acquainted with rarities from the collection of manuscripts, old printed and rare books, as well as lifetime editions of Francis Skaryna, which are the most valuable heritage of the national culture of Belarus.
The library staff shared their work experience, the specifics of the library's activities and projects aimed at preserving and promoting the culture and history of Belarus.
