Monthly meeting with a lawyer on the topic "Major repairs of the house: What do residents need to know?" was organized and held on November 23 by the National Library of Belarus and the Belarusian Republican Collegium of Advocates as part of events on information and legal education of citizens.
The lecture was delivered by the lawyer of the Minsk Regional Legal Consultation No.1, Dina Khovanskaya.
The meeting covered in detail the rights and obligations of residents during the overhaul, as well as the following issues: what includes the overhaul of the house, at whose expense and what should be done in its process, what are the deadlines for the work and commissioning of the house, as well as where to apply and how to compensate for damage during poor-quality repairs.
The event also includes a thematic exhibition of literature from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, presented in the legal information reading room (room 207b).
