On June 1, Mr Anatol Markievich, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, introduced a new Director General of the National Library of Belarus, Ms Aksana Knizhnikava to the staff. She replaced Mr Raman Matulski, who headed the Library since 2003, in this position.
Mr Markievich wished Ms Knizhnikava and the staff professional success, and also thanked Mr Matulski for many years of fruitful work and personal contribution to the development of the National Library of Belarus and librarianship.
