On 24 June, the National Library of Belarus jointly with libraries of the country’s higher educational institutions held an online conference "Corporate database "Scientists Belarus": issues on cooperation and prospects of development".
There were organized 6 online mediums: the Mogilev State A. Kuleshov University, the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, the Vitebsk State Order of Peoples’ Friendship Medical University, the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, the Baranovichi State University and the National Library of Belarus.
Over 60 representatives from 34 libraries of Belarus took part in this online conference.
The library specialists discussed the peculiarities of management and organization of the corporate database "Scientists of Belarus", examined proposals on the improvement of working procedures, analyzed typical errors in completing questionnaires and creating records, shared their experience of cooperation with teaching staff of universities on data gathering and processing.
The participants of the event got information about the search capabilities of the database, gathering statistical data, additional variants for cooperation.
