On May 14, 2009, participants of the EURASEC peoples’ culture festival visited National Library of Belarus.
The guests mad a tour of the Library and got acquainted with its activities, information resources, equipment, reading rooms, user service, architecture and interior design.
The first EURASEC (Eurasian Economic Community) peoples’ culture festival is held in Minsk and other Belarusian cities from May 13, 2009 to May 17, 2009, according to the resolution adopted at the meeting of the International Council of EURASEC in June 2006 at the suggestion of President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko. The Festival is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi occupants.
The aim of the event is to develop cultural cooperation and friendship among member states of the Eurasian Economic Community, promote cultural values of the EurAsES peoples, develop international
