On December 30th, 2009, in the Round table hall of National Library of Belarus President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko gave a press conference to central and regional mass media of Belarus.
About 250 reporters from governmental and non-governmental mass media participated in the event; more than 170 journalists represented different regions of Belarus.
For the first time within the framework of the press conference of the head of state the live broadcast from regional studios was organized. Regional journalists had the opportunity to ask questions to the President.
