On July 13, 2009, in the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, representatives of Harrods group of companies including Countess Raine Spencer visited National Library of Belarus.
The guests got acquainted with the Library’s activities, user service, information resources and equipment including special equipment for physically impaired users, learned about the history of the Library, peculiarities of its architecture and interior decorations.
In the Museum of a Book the visitors viewed the collection of rarities from the Library’s stock. At the end of the excursion the guests ascended the Observation platform and admired the panorama of the capital.
