On 24 May, within the framework of the IV Minsk international graphic art exhibition “Art-Line”, an exhibition of drawings performed by students and graduates of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts opens at 5 p.m. at the art gallery “Panorama”.


More than 40 drawings performed in the last 10 years will be on display.

The offered exhibition presents different techniques of graphic art: etching, linoleum engraving, woodcut, lithography, cardboard engraving. There are works by young but well-known in artistic circles authors: R. Sustova, L. Abramova, Т. Shelest, F. Basalygo, Z. Piskun and others.

The exhibition runs up to 27 June.

From 25 May, admission is paid. The exhibition admission fee is equal to that of the Observation Platform of the National Library of Belarus.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.
