On May 26, 2007, in the Oval hall of National Library of Belarus took place the XXI-th meeting of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus Interbank monetary council and the Central Bank of Russian Federation.
In the meeting took part Pjotr Prokopovich, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, and Sergey Ignatjev, the chairman of the Bank of Russia.
During the Library tour participants of the event acquainted themselves with the history and resources of the Library as informational, social and cultural centre of Belarus.
