On May 12, 2008, in National Library of Belarus took place a Round Table “Transfer of technologies: the modern issues. Information supply of innovative activity. State and private partnership.” which was hold in the framework of the exhibition “Belarusian Industrial Forum – 2008”.
The event was organized by the republican Center of Transfer of Technologies; National Library of Belarus, Confederation of Industrialists and Businessmen”; Minsk Capital Union of Businessmen and employers; Republican Association of Industries “BelAPP”, and exhibition company “Expoforum”.
The event was hold in partnership with the State Committee for Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and United Nations Development Program in Belarus.
At the Round Table were discussed the issues of the development of a favorable institute and legal environment, transfer of technologies, information supply of innovative activity, infrastructure and venture investment, innovative business, and other issues.
In the event participated: over 50 representatives of innovative infrastructure; state administration, ministries, and departments agencies; directors, founders, and experts of industries; the eminent scientists, and representatives of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and other institutes of higher education.
