The National Library of Belarus celebrated the International Book Giving Day on February 14 at the National Children's Technopark.
In truth, the landmark educational institution, whose goal is to find and comprehensively develop gifted students from all regions of Belarus, directing their attention to innovative activities, trains about 1,500 students in grades 9-11 in 15 directions every year, opening up unique opportunities for realizing their personal potential.
The staff of the technopark, headed by Director Sergei Sachko, hospitably welcomed a delegation from the main treasury of knowledge, headed by Deputy Director General Viktar Prshybytko, and accepted 200 publications, including books of a humanitarian profile and textbooks.
During the meeting, promising opportunities for cooperation, ideas for creating exciting projects and holding joint events were discussed.
An informative tour of the modern building of the technopark, visits to classrooms equipped with high-tech equipment, communication with teachers demonstrated a high level of work with future specialists and inspired the library to further support the students of the technopark in their desire to effectively implement projects aimed at the benefit of the country.
