The fund of the electronic library of the National Library of Belarus was replenished with an electronic version of the book Vsemirnaya tamozhennaya organizatsiya v mezhdunarodnom tamozhennom prave.


The author of the book Vsemirnaya tamozhennaya organizatsiya v mezhdunarodnom tamozhennom prave (The World Customs Organization in the International Customs Law) is Alexander Grebennikov, a Master of Law, Associate Professor of the international university "MITSO". A printed edition of the book was donated earlier. Such a work was first written in the Russian language, and specialists estimated it very well, in particular the World Customs Organization, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Customs Academy.

The National Library of Belarus works hard on the creation of the database "Electronic library". National documents are priority in its formation. Sources of information for the electronic library are the National Library of Belarus (NLB), libraries, archives, museums and other organizations in Belarus and foreign countries, as well as publications which have been got due to the interaction with right holders. Due to cooperation with the authors the NLB’s collections are replenished with modern electronic publications.

The National Library of Belarus thanks everyone who is not indifferent to the formation of the electronic library and invites authors to fruitful cooperation.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.
