Initiated by Skaryna

The exhibition offers the unique first printed editions by Francisk Skaryna and Ivan Fyodorov. There are books by Francisk Skaryna “The Book of Job” (1517), “The Book of Kings” (1518) and “Ecclesiastes” (1518) edited in Prague, and the book by Ivan Fyodorov “Apostle” (1574) edited in Lvov. Ostrozhskaya Bible (1581), one of the best Cyrillic old printed editions of the XVI century, is displayed at the exhibition as well.
