The Belarus Red Cross Society Primary Organization

Belarus Red Cross Society Primary Organization was established on November 24th, 2009.

As of December 1st, 2017, the primary organization includes 206 employees of the library.

The primary organization’s activity is to raise funds to help the most vulnerable population segments: lonely elderly people without the ability to self-care, large families, incomplete and needy families, people with physical or psychological limitations, victims of emergency and crisis situations in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk.

Every year the National Library of Belarus with BRCS representatives organizes a charity action Hello, School dedicated to the school year beginning for children from families without social protection. During this action the children attend an excursion including the visit of an observation tower, the volunteers organize a game program and give an individual gift to each child.

The BRCS’ primary organization of the state institution The National Library of Belarus carries out its activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Public Associations", basing on the Charter of BRCS and other legislation acts of the Republic of Belarus.
