Hand-written music from the collection of E. Girdo (full texts)

Eduard Girdo is a composer, musician, choirmaster, organist, teacher and choir director of the Church of Corpus Christi in Nesvizh. In his work, performing and teaching E. Girdo was the successor of Stanislaw Moniuszko and other outstanding church organists, who worked in Vilnius in the second half of the nineteenth century. In 1997, by the decision of the Commission to Ensure the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Values, a significant part of the musical archives of the church in Nesvizh was handed over to the National Library of Belarus. The collection of works by different authors featured a number of hand-written music by Moniuszko.
