On October 17, the National Library of Belarus hosted the grand opening of the photo exhibition "Women of Heroes of the Bryansk region" as part of the patriotic project "Hero's Wife".
The exhibition presents 38 photos of strong women, each with its own unique story. The pictures are accompanied by thoughts shared by the heroines of the project. These are phrases from letters to husbands and sons. Heartfelt lines about the power of the spirit, will, sincere love.
The photo exhibition "Women of Heroes of the Bryansk region" is another step towards preserving the memory of the feat of women heroes and an important contribution to the patriotic education of young people.
The event was attended by Director General of the National Library of Belarus Vadzim Hihin, Chairman of the socio-cultural public association "Young Russia" Sergey Lusch, Acting Deputy Governor of the Bryansk region Vitaly Svintsov, head of the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland of Bryansk Marina Sedneva.
The patriotic photo project "Hero's Wife" is relevant for Belarus and is important for supporting women whose loved ones serve the Motherland, as well as for the formation and strengthening of civil institutions, correct life guidelines in families and society.
The event was organized by the socio-cultural public association "Young Russia" together with the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland of Bryansk with the support of the National Library of Belarus.
The exhibition will be presented until October 23, 2023 in the Mobile Gallery (3rd floor).
The completion date of its work can be changed.
Amission is by the library card or by the social and cultural centre ticket.
