The photo exhibition “In zoom” will open on July 7 at the Labyrinth Gallery (3rd floor) of the National Library of Belarus.

The author of the photos is Ms Marina Batsyukova, Belarusian artist, photographer, member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and the Belarusian Public Association of Photographers. Documentary and conceptual photography are in her sphere of interests.

The exposition presents photographs taken as part of the "My Stories" project, which is devoted to the relationship of the photographs with the natural environment. "My Stories" is a printed embodiment of the project of the same name. It has been presented in museums and galleries in Belarus, Poland and Israel. The book is in the libraries of Russia, Slovakia, Lithuania, France, Sweden, Finland, Japan and other countries. The collection of the National Library of Belarus has several copies.

“My Stories” is exhibited along with individual black and white photographs. The plot sketches of emotions seem to return to the process of creating retro photos and sound in unison with the project.

Each work is a deep multi-level story recorded by the author. Space and time can be overcome through the prism and imagination of the artist. To see the known and the ordinary from a different angle, the unknown feels very clear and close.

You can visit the exhibition until September 25, 2020.
The opening hours of the exhibition correspond to the library’s opening hours.

Admission is by library card or by the ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
The end date is subject to change.
