The theme exhibition "Passionate Individual: Hobby for Each Preference" will be running in the Periodicals reading room (No 106) from May 3 to June 29.

We grow bored with normal job in the repetitive rhythm of life, therefore many people strive to diversify their everyday activities with hobbies or other forms of pleasure. A favourite pastime enables us to escape reality, divert our attention from issues, enjoy a change of pace, and amuse ourselves during leisure.

A pastime improves our mood and adds colour and intrigue to our life. A person's interests and desires to partake in a certain activity are internal. These are our hobbies. Even if the activity does not result in successes, wealth, celebrity, etc., this is the delight of the action itself.

The exhibition features about 30 periodicals covering a wide range of hobbies.

The publications "Kudesnitsa", "Domashnyj", "Masteritsa", and "Ksiusha" are available at the show for those who enjoy knitting, needlework, and other forms of handcrafting.

Publications from the journals "Ia Na Pensii", "Tsvetok", and "Delaem Sami" will be pertinent for creative summer residents.

The magazines "Rybolovnyj Zhurnal", "Radio Liubitel", "Modelist-Konstructor", "Za Ruliom", and others reveal their secrets to men who are passionate about fishing, hunting, radio electronics, and the automotive sector.

The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the library’s opening hours.
Entrance to the exhibition is available by the library ticket or ticket of the library's social and cultural center.
