The 3rd Slavic book holiday will take place in Minsk on September 15–17.


The 1st and 2nd international holidays took place in Moscow (2014) and Belgrade (2015). This year, the project “Slavic book holiday” will gather in Minsk publishers, librarians and representatives of the book industry from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Russian-speaking publishers from Germany and Estonia.

The holiday program includes a three-day book exhibition-fair, presentations of the best publishing projects, a round table on the issues of the extension of cooperation between Slavic publishers, and awarding for the best books, dedicated to the history and culture of Slavic peoples.

The Russian Publishers Association along with the Fund “Russian world” organize the event.

The 3rd Slavic book holiday will be held in the Moscow House (Kommunisticheskaya street, 86)

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
