On October 3, within the framework of the campaign "About Belarus to Belarusians Abroad," a book collection of 60 pieces was presented to the Izmir Cultural Society of Belarusians and Russian-Speaking Community on behalf of the National Library of Belarus.
Mr Aliaksiej Shvied, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, who was in Izmir on a working visit, presented the books.
The goal of the campaign is to promote knowledge about Belarus, popularize information resources reflecting the rich historical, cultural, and natural heritage of the country, and expand information exchange with the Belarusian diaspora associations in foreign countries.
