On July, 2009, participants of the republican sport competition which is part of the national event for students and pupils “I’m proud to live in Belarus” made an excursion of National Library of Belarus.
Traditionally, participants of the sport competitions have visited the Library since 2006. This year 100 participants made an excursion of the Library.
The visitors got acquainted with the history of the Library, user service, and information retrieval system of the Library: catalogs and card indexes, electronic catalog and subject databases.
At the end of the excursions the guests visited the Museum of a Book and viewed works by the modern artists displayed in the art gallery “Atrium”.
