The National Library of Belarus will take part in the 28th Minsk International Book Fair (MIBF), which will be held on February 18-21.
The book festival will feature the exhibition “New Home –- New Perspectives. Publishing Projects 2006–2021". The exhibition is timed to the 15th anniversary of the relocation of the Library to a modern building.
It demonstrates facsimile editions of the Library (editions-winners of the international competition of the CIS member states “Art of the Book”, editions-winners of the national competition “Art of the Book”, etc.), scientific publications (including a number of publications dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book printing, military-patriotic publishing project "Partisan Archive", etc.), unique reprint and electronic editions, postcards, etc.
On February 18 at 6 pm, the Library will present its projects at the central site of the National Stand of Belarus:
- the index "New books: through the pages of Belarusian Press" (to the 60th anniversary of the publication);
- the book "Belarus through the eyes of a Bibliographer";
- Internet project dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Uladzimir Dubouka;
- online reader contest "Oh, Belarus, My Rose!"
