On November 27, 2008, National Library of Belarus has been awarded with a Diploma of the winner of the Republican contest 2008 “The best organizing of activity in the field of copyright and adjacent rights”.
The ceremony of awarding took place in the framework of the Republican seminar on copyright and adjacent rights for heads and experts of scientific, educational, cultural, and art establishments, authors, users, and other persons concerned.
The Seminar was organized by the State committee for science and technologies, National center of scientific propriety in cooperation with World Intellectual Property Organization in the framework of the realization of the State program for intellectual property protection for 2008-2010 adopted by the government of the Republic of Belarus. The event takes place on November 27-28, 2008, in the Republican cultural and educational center.
