The National Library of Belarus has published another scientific and methodological edition: National Documents of Belarus: Technique and Technology of Modern Library Activity.
The publication presents the up-to-date methodological solutions both in traditional areas of library activity (bibliographic description, indexing, acquisition etc.), as well as in areas hardly covered in the national press (the analysis of the Belarusian national component in license databases, the methodology of cataloging and distribution national electronic documents, etc.)
The publication also includes the Library’s regulatory documents concerning the national heritage, methodological decisions on the most difficult and controversial problems, domestic history, etc.
The book, prepared by our employees, librarians and bibliographers, is designed for domestic libraries engaged in the restoration of Belarusian national documents.
