On May 26, the library hosted a seminar on the opportunities of using the Springer Nature publisher’s information products for education and development of science.
The event was prepared by the National Library of Belarus in cooperation with the publishing house Springer Nature.
The seminar was attended by research workers, university professors, doctoral students, graduate students and undergraduates, heads and specialists of Belarusian libraries and other information establishments.
Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus Tatiana Kuzminich opened the seminar. A welcoming speech was delivered by Matthias Eicher, the General Director of LLC 100K20, the official representative of Springer Nature.
At the seminar spoke the Licensing Manager of the publishing house Springer Nature and regional representative in Eastern Europe and Africa Arwa Falazi, who presented the information products of the publishing house and also introduced authors to the possibilities of using tools and information resources for the development of publishing activity.
