A delegation of senior government officials from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan visited the National Library of Belarus on May 17.
The distinguished guests had an excursion around the Librarywhere they got acquainted with its history, architecture, resources and the potential of a largest sociocultural centre of the country.
Members of the delegation visited the Round hall, the observation platform and the Book Museum. The guests were particularly impressed by rarities from the collection of manuscripts, old printed and rare books, and also lifetime Francysk Skaryna’s editions, which are a most valuable heritage of Belarusian national culture.
