The National Library of Belarus held an online training workshop for employees of regional libraries and libraries responsible for the Regional Consolidated Electronic Catalogues (RSEC) on September 3, 2021. At present, there are 6 RSECs of Brest, Viciebsk, Homiel, Hrodna, Minsk and Mahiliou regions created, which include 49 library institutions of culture and education.

The moderator of the webinar, Ms Alena Ishucina (Head of the Corporate Cataloguing System Support Section), spoke in detail about the processes of connecting libraries to the RSEC. She paid particular attention to the issues of preparing content for uploading to the RSEC, and setting up the workplaces of the library staff for cataloguing in the RSEC.

46 specialists from 19 libraries attended the event.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
