Children’s books, fiction and non-fiction... For the first time, the whole “palette” of domestic book publishing is represented in the National Library of Belarus at the exhibition "Books of Belarus. Year 2019 ."

More than 500 business entities in Belarus are engaged in publishing. This year, over 9,000 books have been issued in more than 20 million copies.

At the exhibition you will be able to get acquainted with a variety of publications, assess the level of professionalism of Belarusian publishers and printers, and choose books for your home library.


The exposition is open until January 30, 2020 in the exhibition area (room 104).

Admission is by library card or by ticket of the library's social and cultural center. Information and tickets may be obtained at the registration desk.

We remember the great heroic deed

On May 7, on the eve of Victory Day, the staff of the National Library of Belarus laid flowers at the monument "Grieving Mother" in the Chelyuskintsev Park of Culture and Recreation. During the war of 1941-1943, thousands of dead soldiers, shot residents, as well as those who died during the difficult war years from hunger and disease found their last refuge here in mass graves.
