On November 10, as part of a series of events in the virtual reading room of the National Library, a presentation of new specialized RemoteXs and MyLoft systems was held.
Ensuring high–quality remote access of readers to electronic resources of the organization – both subscription and own generation - is one of the urgent tasks for modern libraries.
RemoteXs and MyLoft are authentication systems for remote users of electronic resources that provide round–the-clock access to platforms using a single login and password.
The seminar participants were presented with an overview of the capabilities of RemoteXs and MyLoft systems for organizing effective library activities. The event was opened by Viktar Prshybytka Deputy General Director – Director of Information Resources and User Services. The speaker was Andrey Sokolov, Development Director of JSC "Neopoisk". He presented the specifics of these systems: administration features, the formation of a multidimensional statistics module, the availability of a mobile application, the creation of user groups and categories.
The virtual reading room will continue the cycle of events on acquaintance with electronic information resources of domestic and world manufacturers.
