For readers of the National Library and our partners in the virtual reading room, a test access to the information of the Resource Center for Foreign Languages on the platform of the electronic library system "University Library Online" is open.

The Foreign Languages Resource Center contains more than 4,000 educational and scientific electronic materials on foreign languages from leading Russian and foreign publishers. Thanks to this service, you will be able to start and continue learning many dozens of Slavic, European, Oriental, African and ancient languages: English, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Serbian, Chinese, Arabic, Indonesian, Ethiopian, Niger-Congolese, as well as Ancient Greek, Latin, Sanskrit, etc. Russian Russian language learners have a special section "Russian as a foreign language".

To help effective learning, monographs and textbooks, fiction in the original language, audiobooks, as well as simulators and tests for training and testing knowledge are presented.

Test access is open until December 31, 2023.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.
