The center is open to promote friendly contacts, academic and cultural exchange between the two countries.

The hall provides services to all library readers, and orders for documents from the auxiliary fund are fulfilled upon the reader's oral request.

The total number of reading places is 34, including 3 computers for working with electronic information resources.

The auxiliary fund of the Chinese Book Center contains about 2,000 documents in Chinese, Belarusian, Russian, English, French and other languages.

The book collection is represented by publications on education, science, history, culture and art of China, its politics and economy, traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese cuisine. There are books devoted to the nature and geography of China. Of particular note is the literature section, which includes unique publications in which the most famous works of Chinese literature are published in parallel in two languages: Chinese and English or Chinese and Russian, which makes them accessible to all categories of library readers.

The Periodicals Fund contains 8 titles of periodicals:

Beijing review, Journal of library science in China, Journal of the National Library of China, Woman of China, Wenxian, Dykhanie Kitaya, Puti Podnebesnoy i zhurnal Kitay

Ordering documents from the collection storage departments to the hall of documents of international organizations is not carried out.

• printing of electronic data;

The work time of the reading room corresponds to the work time of the Library.
