The teachers are currently preparing a number of interesting events for their students. Meanwhile, they decided to celebrate the holiday with a visit to the National Library of Belarus. They visited the excursion "Famous Names of Motherland", which is based on the works of the poet, writer and playwright, beloved by all Belarusians, Uladzimir Karatkievich.
The visitors got acquainted with the architecture and interior of the Library, the system of ordering, delivering and issuing literature, went to the Book Museum and a literary-art exhibition "The Principality of Images and Words" dedicated to Uladzimir Karatkievich.
Part of the excursion was held in the form of interactive lessons, during which the guests learned interesting facts from the life of Uladzimir Karatkievich, leafed through the first editions of his works stored in the collections of the National Library of Belarus, as well as books of our renowned compatriot published in recent years.
At the end of the tour, the guests ascended to the Observation Deck to admire Minsk from a bird's-eye view.
