On December 3 at the Palace of the Republic (Minsk) took place a presentation of a photo album “The Creating Belarus” published by Belarusian Telegraph Agency in the Russian and the English languages.
The photo album has become one of the major illustrated editions in Belarus. It is published in 5 thousand copies and consists of two volumes. The newest history of Belarus and a wide panorama of construction, reconstruction and modernization of Belarusian cities, towns and villages in last fifteen years are presented in the pages of the album.
The album comprises interesting information about more than 260 objects and buildings, including the National Library of Belarus. Photo-reports reveal the most interesting and picturesque views of the Library and show the most important events in its life. The photo album will be interesting to Belarusian readers and will promote a positive image of Belarus on the world scene.
General Manager of Belarusian Telegraph Agency Dmitri Zhuk presented to the National Library of Belarus a copy of the photo album “The Creating Belarus”.
