The teaching tour series "Outstanding People of the Motherland" is being updated with new names. On the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, we prepared a tour focused on the writing of the famous Belarusian writer Vasil Bykov. On December 18, we have met students of Minsk State Vocational Lyceum №7.
The students took a tour to the building of the library, visited the Book Museum and watched a presentation on the writer's books of different years. Documentary photographs and graphic materials from the collections of the National Library introduced them to the main events of the biography of Vasily Bykov allowing to refresh the knowledge of the writer's works, which were studied by them as part of the Belarusian literature curriculum.
