The Union Electronic Catalog of the Belarusian Libraries can be an excellent assistant in the search and remote work with the collections of the largest libraries in the country in the conditions of distant activities.
The catalogue includes more than 6 million bibliographic records of books (including rare and early printed books), theses, theses abstracts, graphic documents, cartographic materials, musical documents, documents on standardization, audio and video documents, periodicals, international organizations documents which are stored in the collections of the four largest libraries in the country: National Library of Belarus, Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus named after Y. Kolas, Republican Scientific and Technical Library, Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus.
The catalogue offers such opportunities for the user as following: remote order for publications in a respective library; remote order of an electronic copy of a document or part of it to for respective e-mail through the "Electronic Document Delivery" service; access to digital copies of documents stored in collections of the National Library of Belarus and Central Scientific Library of the NAS of Belarus named after Y. Kolas in public access.
