On February 13, 2009, in the framework of the ХVI-th Minsk International Book Fair “Books of Belarus – 2009” takes place a round table “Publisher-library: experience in cooperation of State publishing houses and public libraries for acquisition of socially significant literature”.
The event is timed to “The Day of Libraries” during which all book publishers focus attention on the establishment of contacts with libraries as their old and the most interested partners.
At the meeting representatives of National Library of Belarus, public libraries of Belarus, the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, heads of State publishing houses and their marketing services and book trade organizations will discuss the issues of acquisition of socially significant literature.
The Round table sets in at 12.00 in National exhibition center “BelEXPO” (Minsk, Y. Kupala Street, 27, conference hall).
