The opening ceremony of II Minsk international digital art festival “Terra Nova” took place on October 14 at the gallery Rakurs.


For the second time, digital artworks are displayed at the art galleries of the National Library of Belarus. Authors from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Norway and other countries participate in the festival.

Curator of the festival, chairman of the International Guild of Painters Fyodor Yastreb opened the event.

Head of the Sociocultural Center of the National Library of Belarus Sergey Sheremetev, designer and professor of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts Alexander Schepetov, photographer and member of the expert commission of Belarusian Nongovernmental Organization “Fotoiskusstvo” Valery Vedrenko, producer, film director and curator of the forum “Kinovarka” Vladimir Maksimkov took part in the event.

The exhibition runs up to November 20, 2010.

The quest tour "The road of the Great Victory"

On May 15, on the International Family Day, the National Library of Belarus was visited by members of the Belarusian Association of parents with many children in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk. They took part in the quest tour "The road of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
