The pupils of the 4th classes from school No. 138 in Minsk celebrated the International Mother Language Day in the Book museum of the National Library.
Museum classes were dedicated to Francysk Skaryna. It is not by accident, because it was Skaryna who was at the origins of the Belarusian literary language. Due to the devoted work of the enlightener and his successors, the Belarusian language was formed as a state language in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Francysk Skaryna acted as a language reformer and defender of the right of his people to use their native language. Due to the expansion of the book publishing, the Belarusian word become part of the European and global language process.
