On 21 June, 2012, the Parliamentary delegation of the Kingdom of Cambodia led by Chairman of the National Assembly of the Parliament Mr. Heng Samrin visited the National Library of Belarus.
The visit to the National Library of Belarus took place within the framework of an official visit of the Parliamentary delegation of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Belarus.
Director of the National Library of Belarus R.S. Motulsky welcomed the guests. Members of the delegation made a panoramic excursion to the Library and acquainted themselves with its activity, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design. The excursion continued on the indoor observation platform of the Library which had a picturesque view down the capital and its outskirts.
At the Book Museum, the collection of rare editions from the Library’s stocks was presented to the attention of the distinguished guests. Chairman of the National Assembly of the Parliament Mr. Heng Samrin wrote a memorable entry to the Guests of Honor Book.
