On 26–28 March, a set of organizational actions for specialists of the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus was held in the National Library of Belarus.
The actions are arranged with the purpose of joining the library to the System of corporate cataloguing and maintenance of the summary electronic catalogue.
During the training the technological aspects of formation of bibliographic records, interactions with the summary electronic catalogue, authoritative control of entitets “Thematic subject”, "Place-name", “Personal name” etc., and also the features of semantic processing of documents in conditions of corporate cataloguing were covered.
Results of the training and the sequence of actions for joining the Presidential Library of the Republic of Belarus to the System of corporate cataloguing were discussed at the round table.
