On May 21–22, 2009, in National Library of Belarus was held the First conference of young specialists “Technological innovations in water treatment”.
Young scientists and specialists in water industry from Central and Eastern Europe participated in the event.
The following issues were discussed at the conference:
- the present and the future of municipal water facilities and drainage system;
- the main trends of water facilities and sewerage system reforming in the framework of market reforms;
- technologies of treatment of wastewater and natural water polluted with mineral oil;
- technologies of removal of iron from water.
